Shri Teja Mema Ahir Salt Works

Down in Gandhidham-kachchh, you can find Shri Teja Mema Ahir Salt Works at our office in Tejabhai Tower. We are located on the second floor, specifically in room 201 on Plot No. 8. It’s right there in Sector 9, which most locals know well because of the U C O Bank nearby. If you see the bank, you basically found us. Working with salt in this part of Gujarat is just what people do around here. The air always has a bit of that salty tang to it. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular brick and mortar space in a busy sector. We spend most of our hours keeping track of the loads and the workers out at the salt pans. It gets dusty, and the sun is usually beating down on the tower, but we have our rhythm. The tower itself has seen a lot of people come and go, but we’ve stayed put. We don’t really go in for big signs or loud advertising. Most people who need to find us already know where we sit. We keep a couple of chairs for visitors and a lot of ledgers for the business. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, deal with the day’s logistics, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a steady life here in Gandhidham. We like the way things are and the people we see every day.
