The President - A Boutique Hotel

The President is located right off C.G. Road. We are directly opposite the Municipal Market, which is one of the busiest spots you can find around here. Being a boutique hotel means we aren't a huge chain, so it’s a bit more personal. We see all kinds of people coming in, from shoppers who spent the whole day at the market to people here on business. The street outside is always full of life and noise. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We have been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Our staff is mostly local people who know the city well. We don't have a giant lobby with marble everywhere, but we try to keep the place clean and comfortable. Working near the Municipal Market means there is never a dull moment. We spend a lot of time talking to guests about where to eat or which shops are good. It is a lot of work running a hotel, there is always something that needs fixing or a room that needs extra attention. We just take it one day at a time and try to be a decent place for people to stay when they are in this part of the city. It’s just how we do things here, without any fancy talk. We are just a local spot where you can get a good night of sleep.
