Ethnic Culture Enhancers Ltd.

You can find us up on the ninth floor of the Summount building. We’re right across from the Iskon Temple on S G Road, which is a great landmark for anyone trying to visit. Ethnic Culture Enhancers Ltd. is a bit of a long name, but it covers what we’re interested in. We spend our days looking at textiles, traditional crafts, and stuff that has some history behind it. The office is often cluttered with samples and sketches. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. S G Road is always humming with traffic, so the view from the 901 office is pretty interesting. We work with a lot of different people from different places. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic trying to coordinate everything, especially when deadlines are tight. We don’t have a corporate handbook or anything like that. We just figure things out as we go. Some mornings are spent arguing over colors, and afternoons are for checking on orders. It’s a small group of us here. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us. We like the vibe of this area. It feels connected to the city but we’re high enough up to get some peace. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we just like what we do and try to do it well without making a big fuss about it. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
