You can find us at 141 Markey Yard. It’s a busy spot, especially early in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. We handle exports, which sounds like it might be complicated, but it’s really just about knowing what’s good and where it needs to go. The market yard is full of noise, dust, and people shouting, but there’s an order to it all if you’ve been here long enough. Kanaiya Exports Pvt. Ltd. deals with a lot of different products, mostly things grown or made nearby that people in other places want. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Our office is basically a desk, some chairs, and a lot of ledgers. We spend most of our time checking the quality of the goods before they get packed up. If something isn't right, it doesn't leave the yard. It’s a tough business sometimes because prices go up and down and shipping can be a headache. But we’ve built some good relationships over the years. We don’t make big promises we can’t keep. We just do our best to get the shipments out on time. It’s a lot of physical work and staying on top of the details. The Market Yard isn’t the prettiest place, but it’s where the real business happens. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we wait for the last few trucks to clear out. It’s a long day.
