Our place is in Kamalanagar, right at address 18-98/A. We are situated directly opposite the ICICI bank, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. We work with technology and computer networks. Mostly it involves setting up internet connections or fixing wiring problems in offices and homes. It’s not the kind of tech job where you sit in a nice chair all day. We are often out in the sun or climbing on roofs to fix an antenna. Back at the shop, we have a lot of tools and testing gear scattered around. It looks like a bit of a mess to an outsider, but we have our own system. We started out small with just a few clients in the neighborhood. Over time, more people started calling us when their systems went down. We don't have any corporate training or fancy degrees. We just learned by doing and by fixing things that were broken. Kamalanagar is a busy place, so there's always someone needing help with a router or a cable. We don't wear uniforms. Usually, it’s just a t-shirt and work pants because the job is quite physical. We enjoy the challenge of finding out why a network isn't working. It’s like solving a puzzle every day. We’re just local people helping other locals stay connected to the internet and keeping their systems running.
