Madura Coats has been operating out of this spot for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. The shifts start early, and there’s always a line of people coming in through the gates while the night crew is heading home. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a big practical space filled with the sounds of production. We spend most of our time keeping the machinery running and making sure the counts are right. It gets a bit humid in this part of the village, especially during the monsoon months when the roads around the survey number get a little muddy. We don't have a fancy lobby or a lot of decorations on the walls. Most of the space is taken up by the stuff we’re actually making and the crates waiting to be moved.
