Pan Centre

Pan Centre is out in Antharpur Kerameri in the Surdapur area. It’s a small place, more like a roadside stall than a big shop. We are located in a spot where people often stop when they are traveling between villages. It’s a very simple business. We sell pan, of course, but we also have small things like tobacco, biscuits, and cold drinks. There isn't much to the shop besides a wooden counter and some shelves for the jars. The weather out here can be quite tough, either very hot or very dusty, so we spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or truck drivers who are passing through and need a break. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements. People just know we are here because we've been on this corner for a long time. It’s a quiet life for the part, watching the cars go by and talking to the regulars who stop for a chat every day. Sometimes the supply truck is late, and we run out of certain items, but people around here are patient. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s not much, but it’s our livelihood and we are happy to be a part of the community in Surdapur. We just provide what the people in the area need on a daily basis without any fuss. We hope to be here for more years.
