The Department of Agriculture, Puducherry issues Smart Farmer Identity Card to eligible Farmers/Farm Women to avail subsidy / assistance for farming. On submission of applications, Smart Farmer ID Cards are issued to Farmers / Farm Women subject to the satisfaction of the documents produced - Land ownership document; Lease deed; FMB; Chitta; Adangal; Site Map; Aadhar of applicant & nominee; EPIC of applicant & nominee; PP size Photo etc., The forms could be obtained from the Farm Help Centres and online submission would be facilitated. Before online submission the document would be verified and field inspected, if needed.
