The Department of Agriculture, Puducherry extends subsidy for Micro Irrigation such as Sprinkler Irrigation with an aim to optimize the utilisation of water for farming and ultimately saving the depletion of ground water. The beneficiary has to submit an application at the State Ground Water Unit; online submission would be facilitated and subsidy is extended subject to the satisfaction of the guidelines in force.
