The Department of Agriculture, Puducherry extends back ended subsidy for Horticultural crops to encourage the horticultural farmers as well as to support their cost of cultivation. To avail the subsidy, the farmers / farm women in posession of Smart Farmer Identity Card has to submit an application at the Horticultural wing of the Department of Agriculture, Puducherry; online submission would be facilitated; field inspected and then subsidy allowed after harvest subject to satisfaction of guidelines in force.
