The Department of Agriculture, Puducherry extends subsidy for the production of certified seeds so that an increased production of certified seeds would lead to wider usage of good quality seeds thereby reducing the incidence of pests and diseases and also increase the production. The beneficiary has to submit an application along with the Smart Farmer Identity Card; Online submission would be facilitated; and subsidy allowed subject to the satisfaction of guidelines in force.
