Intended to provide lean season relief to Fishermen, both Marine and Inland. The beneficiary is contributing an amount of Rs1500/- with 6 instalments @Rs250/- per month. The Central Government and State Government contribute an equal share of Rs1500/- each and an amount of Rs4500/- is given to beneficiary during the lean months. Relief of Rs1500/- each given in the months of May, June and July for Marine fishermen and in the months of July, August and September for Inland fishermen.
