Indian Technical Textile Association Joins hands with Taiwan''s TTTA for Development of the Tech Textile Sector

Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) – the apex body of Technical Textile producers in the nation has held hands with Taiwanese partner Taiwan Technical Textiles Association (TTTA) to advance the Technical Textile Industry in both the nations. ITTA Chairman Dr. K S Sundararaman has stepped up to the plate and produce the organization between the two driving affiliations and in like manner, a Memorandum of Understanding has been marked in Taiwan as of late.

From ITTA, Amit Agarwal, Vice Chairman of the association and Alex Lo, Chairman of TTTA has signed the MOU. The signing ceremony was held within the presence of Sridharan Madhusudhanan, Director General, India Taipei Association – the delegate office of Govt. of India in Taiwan.

Under this partnership, member organizations of both the affiliations would be hugely profited. Here to note that, India is an emerging market for technical textile products while Taiwan has matured technical textile industry and product know-how. Speaking to Textile Excellence, Amit Agarwal said “The MOU would facilitate Indian and Taiwanese companies to form joint ventures for technical textile manufacturing in either of the countries. Also, companies from both the countries would be able to collaborate for sharing technical knowledge and compliment the supply chain with trade of technical textile materials.”
