Su Shanti Shuttering

Our yard is located right in the heart of the Shuttering Market along Old Ambala Road. If you know the area, you know it’s always buzzing with trucks and tractors moving heavy materials. We deal with all the stuff builders need for shuttering, like the iron plates, the heavy wooden planks, and those long adjustable props. It’s a lot of physical work, loading these things up and making sure they are in good shape for the next person who rents them. The yard is mostly open, so we are out there in the heat and the rain. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, with bits of dry concrete and wood shavings all over the ground, but that’s the nature of this business. We have a small cabin where we sit to handle the accounts and talk to the contractors who come by. We’ve been here for a long time, so we’ve seen the market change quite a bit. Sometimes the traffic on Old Ambala Road makes it hard for the big trucks to turn in, which can be a real headache. We just try to get the orders ready on time so the construction sites don’t have to wait. There are a few of us working here, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the heavy lifting. It’s a straightforward business, no frills at all. We just provide the materials and make sure they get where they need to go.
