Travel Advent

Our office is up on the second floor of Sco 12 in Kalgidhar Enclave. Being in Baltana is good because things are always moving around here. You have to climb the stairs to get to us, which is a bit of a workout every morning. Inside, there are maps on the wall and a lot of printed itineraries scattered on the desks. We spend the day looking at flight schedules and trying to figure out the best way to get someone from one place to another without too much trouble. It is a lot of clicking around on websites and waiting for confirmation emails to arrive. The phone rings pretty often with people asking about prices or if a bus is on time. We don't have a giant team, just a few people who like talking about different places to visit. Sometimes we stay late because someone is stuck at an airport and needs a quick fix. It’s not a fancy job but it’s interesting to see where everyone wants to go. The window looks out over the street so we can see the traffic while we work. It’s a bit noisy when the market is in full swing. We just keep the files organized and try to make sure nobody misses their train or plane. It’s mostly about keeping track of the small details that matter and making sure the dates are right.
