Suralee Foods & Beverages Private Limited

We are based at House No 3-38 in Obulavaripalle. It's in the Cuddapah district of Andhra Pradesh. Suralee Foods & Beverages is the name we use. We started this in a small way right here in the village. We make various snacks and drinks. It's a local operation through and through. The building is just a regular house that we converted for work. It’s nothing like those big industrial plants you see near the cities. We have a few machines, but a lot of it is still done by hand. We like it that way because we can see exactly what’s going into the packets. Obulavaripalle is a nice place to work. It’s peaceful. Our workers are mostly our neighbors. We drink tea together during breaks. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just focus on making things that people in the area like to eat and drink. Sometimes we try out new recipes. If our families like them, we sell them. If not, we don't. It's a simple way to run things. We’ve been here for a while now and we don't plan on moving. Cuddapah has its own way of doing things, and we fit right in. We just want to keep the business going and provide for our families. That's the main goal. It's not complicated. Just good food and honest work. Sometimes the weather gets too hot, but we keep the fans running and keep working.
