Sri Sheshadri Handloom Producer Company Limited is tucked away behind the Sai Baba temple in Moragudi. You can find us at SF.NO.156/1 in the Jammalamadugu area. It’s a quiet place, except for the rhythmic sound of the looms. Being a producer company means a bunch of us work together on our handloom products. The temple is a good landmark, and you can often hear the morning prayers while we’re starting our shifts. The air here usually smells like raw cotton and sometimes the dyes we use. Our workspace is simple, with plenty of natural light so we can see the threads clearly. Most of the folks here are locals from Moragudu who have been doing this for years. We handle everything from getting the yarn to the final folded cloth. When the weather is nice, we sit outside and discuss the production numbers. It’s a very grounded way of living. We don’t use big words to describe what we do.
