Fadil Chit Funds Private Limited is over in Proddatur. Our address is H.No.22/64 in the Vasanthapeta area. It’s right there in the heart of Cuddapah district. The office is not very large at all. It’s just a couple of rooms where we keep all the files and the safe for the documents. We’ve been operating from Vasanthapeta for a while now. People in Proddatur know us as a local place where they can manage their savings. We handle the monthly chit collections and the auctions that happen here. It’s a lot of paperwork to stay on top of. Every day we sit down and go through the entries to make sure everything is right. We don’t have any flashy signs or big advertisements. We just have our name on the door and people find us. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stand but not too far for most. The neighborhood is mostly houses and small shops. We get to know the people who participate in our chits quite well over the years. It’s a small-town kind of business. We don’t use any complicated systems. Just some basic computers and a lot of pens and paper. Sometimes the street gets noisy with the local traffic, but we just keep our heads down and work on the books. We aren’t looking to become some massive company. We just want to keep the books balanced and the members happy each month.
