You can find the Divyamsha Annadana Foundation on the second floor of a building in the Co-operative Colony. The door number is 20/797, right here in Kadapa. It’s in the south part of the city, and the 516001 area code is where we spend most of our time. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just other buildings and the occasional tree. The colony is a decent place to work because it’s not as chaotic as the main market areas. We mostly focus on food-related service, which is what the name Annadana is all about. It’s basic work—making sure people have something to eat. We don't have a big fancy kitchen here in the office, but this is where we do all the organizing and the phone calls to get things moving. The stairs can be a bit of a climb on a hot day, but we don't mind it. We’ve got a few rooms that we use for storage and meetings. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters; it’s more like a functional space where we get things done. We don't spend money on expensive decorations. We’d rather keep things simple and honest. Most of us have lived in Cuddapah for years, so we know the area and the people pretty well. It’s just us doing what we can from our small spot in the colony.
