Kranthivanam Textiles

Kranthivanam Textiles is run out of unit 408 in the Vijay Kumar Residency. We are located at 8-3-228 in Rahamath Nagar, which is a fairly busy residential area. Our space is mostly filled with rolls of cloth and different types of fabrics stacked against the walls. It doesn't look like a big shopping mall store; it feels more like a workspace where we manage our stock. We spend our days checking the quality of the materials and packing up orders for people. Sometimes the hallways of the residency get a bit crowded when we have a new shipment coming in. We have to move quickly to get everything inside so we don't bother the neighbors. We know a lot about different threads and weaves, not because we studied it in a big school, but because we’ve handled so much of it over the years. The lighting in our unit is just regular bulbs, which makes the colors of the fabrics look different depending on the time of day. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom floor. People usually find out about us through word of mouth in the 500045 area. It’s a small, family-style operation where we handle everything ourselves, from the heavy lifting to the final billing. We just keep our heads down and keep the fabric moving out the door. It’s a lot of folding and counting, but it is what we know.
