Harshal Kirana Store

Harshal Kirana Store is found in the Cidco N 2 area of Aurangabad, not too far from the Durga Mata Temple. This part of town has a different feel than the city center, but it is just as busy in its own way with families and traffic. Being a kirana store, we focus mostly on the basic food items people need for their kitchens every single day. We have bags of flour, containers of various cooking oils, and many types of lentils and rice. When the temple has a big festival or a special puja, the whole street gets very crowded with people, and we stay extra busy serving everyone who stops by. We try to keep our prices fair because we know most of the families who live around here and we want them to keep coming back. The shop is basically one large room with wooden shelves reaching up to the ceiling. We use a lot of glass jars for the smaller items like cloves, pepper, and cardamom. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything clean because of the dust from the road, but we try to keep up with it every morning. We don't have a big staff, just family members helping out when things get hectic. It’s a quiet kind of life where you focus on the weight of the grain and making sure the customers are satisfied. We have been in this spot for quite some time now.
