Zilla Parishad Primary School

Zilla Parishad Primary School is right on the Main Road in Bajirao Nagar, Yavatmal. If you find the BSNL office, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a primary school, so we deal with the younger kids who are just starting out. The building is a typical government structure, solid but definitely showing its age in some spots. We have the usual yellow and white walls, and the playground is mostly dirt where the children play tag or sit in the shade during lunch. Being near the BSNL office makes it easy for people to find us if they are new to the area. We have a lot of local families sending their kids here. The classrooms are basic. We have benches that have seen many years of students, and the chalkboards are always dusty. It’s a loud place in the mornings when everyone is arriving. We do our best to keep the environment steady for the children so they can learn their ABCs and numbers. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the light in. The staff room is small and usually full of tea cups and notebooks. We don't have much in the way of high-tech gadgets, but the teachers know their stuff and work hard. It’s just a regular local school trying to give the kids a decent start in Yavatmal. We've been here for years and the neighborhood knows us well.
