Urdu High School & Jr. College Of Arts

Down in Pusad, Yavatmal, we’ve got the Urdu High School and Junior College of Arts. It’s a place that’s been around for a long time, serving the local community who want to study in Urdu. The atmosphere here is quite traditional. We have both the younger kids in the high school and the older ones doing their arts degrees. It makes for a very busy campus, especially during the morning assembly. The classrooms are filled with the sound of teachers lecturing and students discussing their lessons. We are located right in Pusad, which isn't a huge city, so everyone kind of knows each other. The office staff is usually busy with the registers and making sure the state board requirements are met. It’s not a fancy place by any means; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the furniture has seen better days, but it’s where learning happens. We focus a lot on the arts subjects, and you’ll often see students sitting in the shade of the trees talking about their upcoming projects. It’s a very human place, with all the usual ups and downs of a local school. We just try to provide a steady environment for the kids in the 445204 area to get their education and move forward with their lives. It's been our way of doing things for many years now, and we plan to keep it that way for the long haul, simple and honest.
