You can find us at Plot No.03 in Prajapati Nagar, along the Arni Road in Wadgaon, Yavatmal. This is the local office for Shapoorji Pallonji &Company Ltd. It’s a straightforward place in a developing part of town. The road outside can get quite dusty when the wind picks up, which is often. We have a gate that stays open during the day for the workers and visitors. Inside, it’s mostly functional. We’ve got desks, some chairs for visitors, and a map of the local area pinned to the wall. We spend our time managing the labor and the materials for the sites around Yavatmal. It’s a lot of coordination. We talk to the suppliers every morning to see where the cement and steel are. Sometimes the heat in Yavatmal makes it hard to stay in the office, but we have some fans that keep the air moving. We aren't a corporate hub with glass walls. We are just a site office where the real work happens. Most of the guys here wear boots and jeans because we are always heading out to the field. We know the local shopkeepers and the people living nearby. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, even when we are stressed about deadlines.
