You can find us at House No.20 in Bajoria Nagar, which is part of Ward No 30 in Yavatmal. We are tucked away behind the Nagar Parishad School No. 17. It is a fairly quiet spot, which is nice because it lets us focus on the numbers. Our name is Saraswat Urban Multicity Nidhi Limited, and we have been operating out of this house for a while now. Most of our members are people from the nearby streets or parents who have kids at the school. We handle small savings accounts and provide small loans when someone needs a bit of help with a wedding or a home repair. There is nothing complicated about it. We sit at our wooden tables, pull out the ledgers, and make sure every rupee is accounted for. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just open the windows and keep working. We are not a big bank with uniforms and guards. We are just local people working in Yavatmal, helping our neighbors save a little every month. The office feels lived-in, and we don't mind that. It makes people feel more comfortable when they come in to talk about their money. We don't have any grand plans to take over the city or anything.
