Pawan Tiles & Cement Product'S

Pusad is a busy town, especially around the Grain Market where everything is constantly moving. Our place, Pawan Tiles & Cement Product'S, is at Plot No. 835 near Subhas Chowk. We are very close to the Bank of India branch, so most people just use that as a landmark to find our gate. We make and sell various cement products and different types of tiles for construction. The yard is always full of grey dust and that specific smell of wet concrete. It is a tough job making these products from scratch. We have molds and mixers that run for most of the morning hours. You have to be very careful with the water mix or the cement products won’t turn out strong enough. The sun beats down on the yard in Pusad, and we spend a lot of time outside moving the finished blocks to dry in the heat. It is not a clean job, and our clothes are always stained with bits of cement and dirt. The Grain Market area is loud with trucks and tractors coming in to drop off their produce. We fit right into that busy, dusty atmosphere. Local builders and people from the town come to us when they are starting a new building project. We don’t have a big office, just a small wooden desk in the corner of the shed where we keep our books. It is hard work.
