Kashi Maya Foundation

We are situated out in Yavatmal, near the Sandip Mangalam in Gedam Nagar. Specifically, we are at Plot No 1 in the Abhinav Colony. It’s a bit of a different pace than the big cities like Mumbai, and we like that. Kashi Maya Foundation is based here, and we enjoy the local feel of the neighborhood. The office itself is pretty basic. We have exactly what we need to get the job done and nothing more. It’s mostly desks, some old chairs, and a few metal cupboards for all the files we keep. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the local community. People around here are friendly and often stop by just to say hello. We don't have a huge team, just a couple of us making sure everything runs smoothly from day to day. The weather gets really hot here in the summer months, so we try to do most of our heavy lifting and travel in the early mornings. We aren't trying to change the entire world overnight. We just do our bit every day and hope it helps. Sometimes we have visitors who stay for a long chat and some cold water. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of expensive marketing. We just exist in our little corner of the region and do what needs to be done. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy with the work. It’s honest and it is what we know.
