Jain Food Processor

We are situated right by Sardar Chowk in Yavatmal. If you know where the main bus stand is, we aren't hard to find at all. Being so close to the post office helps too for any mail we need to send or pick up during the week. Jain Food Processor is where we spend almost all of our days. It gets incredibly hot here during the summer months, but we just keep the ceiling fans going and get on with the food processing. There’s a lot of noise from the buses coming and going at all hours of the day. You honestly stop hearing it after you've worked here for a month. We work with various food items, getting them cleaned and ready. It involves a lot of watching the machines and making sure nothing gets stuck in the gears. Sometimes a belt breaks and we have to fix it ourselves right on the spot. We don't like wasting time when there is work to be done. The floors are made of concrete and we try to keep them washed down every evening. My hands are usually a bit rough from the daily work. People from all over the district stop by since we are so close to the main transport hub. It’s a convenient spot for them and for us too. We just do our work and then head home to our families. It’s a basic setup that works well for us.
