We've been operating out of Govind Nagar for a while now. Specifically near Balaji Manglamsur, just off Pimpalgav Road in Yavatmal. It’s a quiet spot, but it works for us. Eklavya Grassroots And Education Development Foundation started because there was a lot to do here regarding schools and helping out at the local level. We don't have a big fancy office, just room 273 where we handle the day-to-day stuff. Most days are spent talking to people in the neighborhood. It gets busy, especially when the weather is hot, but we keep going. Working on grassroots stuff means we are often out and about rather than sitting behind a desk. People know where to find us if they need help with education matters or just want to see what we are doing. Yavatmal has its challenges, but being right here in the community makes a difference. We try to keep things simple. There’s no big corporate board or anything like that, just a few of us trying to make sense of the needs around here. We’ve seen kids grow up and families move, and we stay put at our little spot near the Manglamsur. It’s not always easy to get things moving, and sometimes the paperwork piles up higher than we'd like. We deal with what comes our way.
