Dhanwantari Hospital

You can find Dhanwantari Hospital right on the Main Road, just across from where Gajanan Talkies used to be, or is, depending on who you ask. It’s a busy part of town. Being right there opposite the cinema means there’s always people walking by. We’ve been here for years, and the building has its quirks, like a door that sticks a bit in the rainy season. Inside, it’s mostly just us doing the usual hospital work. We don't have those big shiny lobbies you see in the city. It’s more about the doctors and the nurses getting through the day. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood who just stop in when they aren't feeling right. The staff spends a lot of time talking to patients and trying to figure out what’s going on. It’s not always quiet, especially with the street noise coming in, but we’re used to it. We keep our schedules on a big board behind the front desk. Sometimes we run a bit behind if an emergency comes in, but that’s just how it is with medical work. There’s no point in pretending everything is perfect all the time. We just do our best to help whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of hard work, long hours, and too much coffee from the stall down the street. But we’re still here every morning.
