Deoraj Provisions

If you are walking down the Main Road in Yavatmal and turn into Baghar Lane, you will see Deoraj Provisions. It is a typical local store where we keep all the daily essentials people need for their kitchens and homes. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of stuff on the shelves. You'll find grains, soaps, oil, and the usual items. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they forgot to buy salt or sugar. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is priced right and the bags are filled. The floor is old tile and sometimes the door squeaks, but it works for us. We know most of the families living around Baghar Lane by their first names. It’s that kind of place. We don't do any big advertisements. People just know we are here. Sometimes the stock takes a few days to arrive from the bigger cities, so we just make do with what we have. It’s a simple business. We open early and close when the street gets quiet. It’s nothing fancy, just a reliable place to get your groceries without having to go all the way to the big markets. Sometimes we have to move stacks of crates just to reach the back of the store, but we manage it every day without much trouble.
