Appalwar Eye Hospital

Our hospital is on Dhanora Road, and it focuses entirely on eyes. It is a dedicated space where people come when they are having trouble seeing or need a new pair of glasses. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on the road. Inside, we have those specialized chairs for eye exams and those big machines that you lean into to look at the lights. The waiting room is usually quiet, with people sitting and staring at the eye charts on the walls. We have a small area for frames and lenses where people pick out their new glasses. The floor is easy to clean, and we keep the lights dimmed in some rooms because of the eye tests. Dhanora Road isn't the busiest street, but we still get a good flow of local people coming in. The staff spends their time cleaning lenses or helping patients figure out how to put in their drops. It is a slow and careful kind of work. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone knows each other well. The building feels lived-in, with some old furniture and a clock that ticks a bit too loudly.
