You can find Umraotech Construction Private Limited at Karhera Main Gali in Yamuna Nagar. The office is actually c/o Arjun’s place in the Model Town area. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are not from the Ambala or Haryana region, but it is where we do all our planning. The village setting is nice because it is quieter than the big cities, although the main street can get a bit busy with tractors and local traffic. We handle various construction jobs around the district. We do not have a big shiny glass office; it is just a room with some chairs and a table where we look at maps and blueprints. Construction is hard work and most of our guys are local people from around Yamuna Nagar. We spend a lot of time making sure the materials arrive on time, which is always a struggle with the narrow roads around the village. Sometimes we have to meet people at the site instead of the office because it is just easier. We are just a group of people who know how to build things and we have been doing it this way for a while now. There is not any secret to it, just showing up every morning and putting in the hours. If the weather is good, we are usually outside, but on rainy days we stay in the office and catch up on all the paperwork.
