If you come out to Village Jorian, you’ll find us right near the main Gurudwara. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. Being in the village means it’s a bit slower than the city, but we still keep pretty busy. The sound of the prayers from the Gurudwara is a regular part of our day, which is actually quite nice when things get stressful. Our facility is mostly a large shed where the machines are kept. It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter because the roof is just corrugated metal. We employ a lot of the local guys from the village, so it feels like a big family most of the time. There is always someone coming in or going out, and the yard is usually full of raw materials or finished products waiting to be loaded onto trucks. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a small corner with a table and a couple of ledgers. We do most of our talking face-to-face rather than over email. The road leading to us can be a bit bumpy, especially after it rains, but the tractors and trucks don't seem to mind much. It’s a hardworking place where we don't worry about appearances. As long as the work gets done and the machines are running, we’re doing alright. We’ve been here a long time and the people in Jorian know they can find us here every day.
