Our office is tucked away in House No 135 in Sector 18, which is part of the Huda area in Jagadhri. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the big city centers. Yamunanagar can be quite a place to navigate, but this sector is easy enough to find. Working out of a house gives things a more relaxed feel for the M/S Reliance Energy Ltd team, though we still stay busy with the local work. We have a few rooms set up with desks and computers. The light comes in nicely through the front windows in the afternoon. Sometimes you can hear kids playing in the street or someone selling vegetables from a cart outside. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big corporate lobby, just a front door and a small area where visitors can sit if they need to wait a minute. The walls are a plain color and we have calendars pinned up everywhere to keep track of the dates. We’ve been here for some time now and the locals know us. It’s just a handful of us working here, making sure the papers are in order. We don’t go for anything flashy, just the basics that we need to do our jobs properly. Most days are just about going through the task lists and making sure the Haryana operations are moving along without any major hitches or delays.
