M/S K.R. Anand Engineers & Contractors is a local outfit based in Yamuna Nagar. Our office is located at 125, Shashtri Colony in Haryana. It’s a regular house that we’ve turned into a workspace over the years. We do a lot of contracting and engineering work around the area. Shashtri Colony is a quiet enough place, though we have trucks coming and going quite often. We don't have a big corporate team with people in ties. Most of us wear work boots and carry measuring tapes. The walls are covered with maps of the local area and project schedules. We’ve been working out of Yamuna Nagar for a long time, so we know the local suppliers and the way the ground is around here. It’s not a fancy life. We spend a lot of time on-site and then come back to the office to finish up the paperwork. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan while we drink our tea. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just take on projects, figure out the costs, and try to get them finished. People in Haryana know we are straightforward. We don't have a website with pretty pictures.
