Matrix Salon And Academy is over at 153 on the ground floor in Yamunanagar. We are located in the Choti Line Model Town area. If you need to find us, just look for D.A.V. Girls College, since we are directly opposite to them. Being near a college means we see a lot of students passing by every day. The place is split between the salon part and the academy part where people come to learn. It is not a huge space, but we have enough chairs and mirrors for everyone. The floor is usually covered in hair clippings until we get a chance to sweep them up. There is a smell of shampoo and hair products that hits you as soon as you walk in. The mirrors are a bit old and have some spots on the edges. We have some posters on the walls showing different styles, but they have been there for a long time. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing with the scissors. In the academy area, there are practice heads and some benches for the students to sit on. It gets quite noisy when the college lets out and the street fills up with people. We just focus on the work and teaching whoever wants to learn the trade. It is a busy little spot in Model Town and we have been here at number 153 for quite a bit. It is just how we work.
