L. V. Garments

L. V. Garments is situated at 123-E/2 in Professor Colony, Yamuna Nagar. This spot has been our workspace for quite a few years now. It is a nice residential-feeling area, but the setup for the clothing business fits in just fine. Most hours are spent dealing with fabrics, patterns, and finished garments. There are always threads on the floor and piles of cloth waiting to be sorted or cut. A bit of a mess is expected, as that is how a garment place looks when work is actually happening. With a few machines going, the sound of stitching is a constant background noise throughout the day. People from around Yamuna Nagar know the location and often come in to see what is available or to ask for something specific. No big fancy storefront with lights and mannequins exists here. It is more of a workshop where things get made by hand. The focus remains on getting the sizes right and making sure the clothes are sturdy enough to last. Since it is a family-run kind of thing, there is usually some tea going and someone around to chat. Big words and fancy marketing aren't used. The work speaks for itself. Living in Professor Colony is good, and making clothes for whoever needs them is what keeps us going. We just take it one stitch at a time and keep the shop running.
