Jai Mata Di Rice Mill

In Ward No. 11 of Yamuna Nagar, near the Aurangabad Kutchehry, you’ll find Jai Mata Di Rice Mill. We are situated very close to the Surya Mandir, so we often hear the bells ringing in the morning while we are starting our engines. It’s a good way to begin the workday. The mill is a busy place, especially since we are located in such a central part of the Aurangabad area. We deal with a lot of local farmers who bring their crops in by the cartload. The work is heavy and the days are long, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the machinery. Inside, it’s always a bit warm and smells like toasted grain. We don’t have any big marketing plans or a sales team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know the quality of the work we do. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, and we have to scurry to cover the bags, but that’s just life at a rice mill. We take pride in just getting through the day’s tasks without any major issues. Our office is just a tiny room with a desk and some old chairs where we sit to drink tea when there is a break. It’s a simple, honest business, and we are happy to be a part of the community here. We keep the machines running and the grain moving every day.
