Green Apple Books

If you are heading down Yamunanagar Road, you will find Green Apple Books right at Parshuram Chowk. We are situated in Model Town, which is a decent area with plenty of people moving through. The shop has been here for some time now. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around, just a place where folks can pick up a book or two. The chowk is always busy with cars and bikes, so there is always a bit of background noise while we work. We have a lot of different titles tucked away on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually get there. The walls are lined with all sorts of things, from school texts to novels. It feels like a real local spot because we see the same faces quite often. The weather can get quite hot in Model Town during the summer, so we have a fan going most of the time. It is a straightforward business. We show up, open the shutters, and see who comes in. There is no fancy decor or polished displays here. It is just us and the books. Parshuram Chowk is a good landmark for people who aren't from this side of town. We like being part of the daily rhythm on Yamunanagar Road. It is a quiet enough existence, just keeping the shop going day after day and making sure the stacks don't fall over for customers.
