Gaba Hospital

Our place is located right across from the panchayat bhavan on the bypass road. If you know where the government office is, then you know exactly where to find Gaba Hospital. It’s a good landmark because people are always heading that way for paperwork or meetings. We’ve had this spot for a long time and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. The layout is a bit odd because we’ve added things here and there over the years. You walk in and the reception desk is right there, usually piled with charts and papers. It’s not a corporate setup where everything is hidden behind glass. You can see the staff working and hear the doctors talking. We get a lot of local folks from the surrounding blocks who just walk over when something isn't feeling right. The traffic on the bypass can be a headache when you’re trying to pull out of the parking area, but you get used to it after a week. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or having matching furniture. Most of the chairs in the waiting room are different colors because we replaced them one by one. It’s a practical kind of place. We handle the daily rush of patients and try to get everyone seen without too much of a delay. It's busy, it's a bit messy at times, and it's just how we operate every single day.
