Durga Traders

Durga Traders is based out of Village Karera. It’s a quiet place compared to the cities, and our setup is very basic. We use a large shed and a small office room to run everything. Being in a village means we know almost everyone who walks past our gate. The work is mostly tied to the local seasons and what the community needs at the time. We don't have set office hours like you’d find in a corporate park; we usually open when the sun is up and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes that means an early finish, and sometimes we are still there under the outdoor lights. The road leading to our place is a bit bumpy, so delivery trucks have to take it slow. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements. People just know we are here. Inside the office, it’s mostly just a few chairs, a wooden desk, and a lot of registers. We deal with things directly and don't like to overcomplicate our deals. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We take care of the stock, handle the payments, and make sure we’re ready for the next day. Sometimes the power goes out for hours, so we just sit outside and wait or talk to the neighbors until it comes back on. It is not always easy, but we are satisfied with how things go here.
