D.A.V. (C) Dental College And Hospital

Over in Model Town, you will find D.A.V. (C) Dental College And Hospital. It’s a place where we do two things: teach students and look at people's teeth. Being in Model Town is nice because it’s a fairly central area and easy to find. The building is usually full of students running around with their books and equipment. It gives the place a lot of energy. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. It isn't a silent clinic; there’s always the sound of machines or people talking in the hallways. We have different floors for the classrooms and the actual clinic areas where patients go. It’s a bit of a mix. The people who work here are a combination of experienced doctors and younger students learning the ropes. We don't have a fancy reception with free coffee, just a desk where you sign in. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long, but sometimes it gets backed up. That is just the way a college hospital works. Model Town is a good neighborhood, and we see a lot of local families coming in for checkups. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people just know the building is there. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the students learn and the patients get seen. It's a busy, noisy, and productive place to be every day for all of us involved.
