Standard Seeds Company

We are located in Vpo Damla, right near Radhur Road. It’s a quiet area compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. Being near the road makes it easy for us to move our seeds around. We spend our days dealing with all sorts of seeds for planting. It’s basic work that follows the seasons. When it's time to plant, we are incredibly busy, and when it’s not, things quiet down a little bit. The building we use is more of a warehouse and workspace than a fancy office. It smells like earth and dried plants most of the time, which is something you get used to quickly. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People around here know where we are and what we do. We just focus on keeping the seeds sorted and making sure they are stored properly so they don't spoil. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags and checking labels. Sometimes we just sit outside on a break and watch the traffic go by on Radhur Road. It’s a simple life, and the work is honest. We’ve been in Damla for years, and most of the people working here are locals from the village or nearby. We don't need any big mission statements or anything like that. We just provide the seeds that people need for their fields. It’s just what we do every day. It’s simple and it works for everyone here.
