Command Hospital(Wc)

Command Hospital(Wc) is located right in the middle of Chandimandir Cantt, which is a place that feels very orderly and quiet compared to the towns nearby. The building is a large, grey structure that has been part of the landscape for a long time. Inside, things are kept very basic. We have the usual long hallways and the smell of antiseptic that hangs in the air. People from the Cantt start arriving early, and by nine o’clock, the waiting areas are usually quite busy. We spend our time checking IDs and making sure everyone has their papers in order before they see anyone. There’s no fancy carpet or modern art on the walls here; it’s just rows of chairs and a lot of notice boards with old schedules pinned to them. Sometimes the fans in the ceiling squeak a little bit, but you get used to it after a few days. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on the daily routine. Most of the staff have worked in Chandimandir Cantt for years, so we know how the system works. We don't try to make the place look like something it isn't. It’s just a hospital for the folks here, and we do our best to keep the records straight and the floors clean enough for the next day's crowd. We stay pretty busy, but that is just part of the job here.
