Chhabra Hospital

We’ve been here in Kharwan for quite some time now. Most people around Yamunanagar know where we are. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular hospital where people come when they aren't feeling right. We deal with fever, coughs, and the usual stuff that happens in a village. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the mornings. You’ll see people waiting on the benches outside. My father started things here, and we just keep it going. There isn't much to say other than we open early and stay open until the last patient is seen. It’s a lot of work. The building is old but we try to keep it clean. Sometimes the fans make noise, but they work. People bring their kids, their grandparents, everyone. We know most of the families by name because they've been coming for years. It’s just how it is in a place like this. We don't have a big website or anything, just the clinic here in Kharwan. If someone is sick, they just walk in. We do what we can. It’s practical. Sometimes it’s stressful when too many people come at once, but we manage. The road outside can get dusty in the summer. We just focus on the people who come through the door. I suppose that is how most local places work around here. We just take it one day at a time.
