Chabra Hospital

Our place, Chabra Hospital, is located at House No 53 on City Centre Road. Being right there in the Yamunanagar Ho area means we are in the middle of all the action. City Centre Road is always moving, with bikes and cars and people going about their business at all hours. The hospital is in an older house that has been around for years, so it has a different feel than those new glass buildings you see in the bigger cities. We have different rooms for different needs, and the hallways are a bit narrow, but we know our way around them perfectly. It can get quite loud outside with the city noise, but inside we try to keep things as orderly as we can. We have a lot of filing cabinets filled with paper records because that’s just how we’ve always done it here. The staff spends a lot of time talking to the families who come in from the nearby villages and other parts of Yamunanagar. We don’t have a fancy cafeteria, just a small area in the back where we can sit for a minute and have some tea between our shifts. It’s a busy life on City Centre Road, and we are just one part of the daily grind in this neighborhood. Most people know the building number by heart now, and they just walk right in when they need us. We keep the doors open and just do what needs to be done.
