Mahadev Confectionery

We run Mahadev Confectionery over in Gadhouli Village. It’s part of the Jagadhri Tehsil in Yamunanagar. You can find us right near the railway station, which is handy for people passing through. We mostly make and sell various sweets and snacks. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so it’s pretty informal here. Most mornings start early so we can get everything ready before the first trains come in. The smell of sugar and flour is always around. It's a small shop, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when people are waiting for their orders. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop. People from the village come by, and we get some travelers too. The railway station brings a lot of different faces through the door. It’s a lot of manual work, standing on our feet and packing boxes. We try to keep the place clean, though the flour gets everywhere. Our neighbors are mostly other small shops and houses. It’s a tight-knit community here in Gadhouli. We’ve been doing this for some time now. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on making things that people like to eat. If you’re near the station, you’ll probably see us there. It is just a regular village shop doing its best to serve the locals and travelers.
