Our office is located at 712 Gandhi Nagar in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. It’s a plain building in a regular street. We’ve been operating out of here to cover the contracting needs in this region. The space inside is mostly filled with paperwork, site photos, and a few old computers. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find any luxury. We are just here to manage the projects. Most of us have been in the construction line for years, so we don’t need anything fancy to get the job done. We spend a lot of time talking to the foremen and making sure the supplies are arriving at the Gandhi Nagar site and others. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the movement, but that’s just part of the business we are in. We have a few chairs for visitors, but mostly we are on our feet or out on the field. The winters here can get quite cold, so we usually have a small heater going while we work on the schedules. We don’t spend much on advertising; the work we do usually speaks for itself in the local community. It’s just a group of us trying to keep things organized and making sure the projects stay on track. We don’t make things more complicated than they need to be.
