Compaq International (P) Limited

Our place is located on Khajuri Road in the VPO Shadipur area. It’s a bit more of a rural or semi-urban setting than a big city industrial park. We have a fair amount of space here, which is good because we handle a lot of electrical components at Compaq International (P) Limited. The building is a simple structure that we’ve adapted over the years to fit our needs. We have a team that manages the daily operations, from checking the incoming materials to making sure the outgoing shipments are packed properly. It’s a lot of physical work, and the weather out here can get quite intense in the summer. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. We just focus on the products and making sure the orders are correct. Most of the folks who work here are from the nearby villages or towns. It feels more like a community than a cold office. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with because of the international side of things, but we try to keep it organized as best as we can. Khajuri Road can be busy with tractors and trucks, but we’re used to it. We just keep doing our thing every day. It’s honest work and we’ve been at it long enough to know the ins and outs of the business without needing a fancy manual. We have some old trees near the entrance of the Shadipur site that provide shade when the sun is high in the sky during breaks.
